Attack!

attack

I have about 30 days before my next CT scan.  I have to admit I am a bit nervous as my last 2 CT scans have not been ideal.  Both had shown growth.  Also both had been after I had made changes to how I took DRE (Dandelion Root Extract).   See the timeline on the right.

I think of the war on cancer as having 3 types of soldiers:
1. The Negotiators/Strategists. They are more preventative then anything. These are the products that build the immune system and let the immune system fight the battle. These can kill cancer at stage 4 but it is very, very regimented.
2. The front line infantry. They are ones that fight back and push the enemy back in it’s place. I see anti-angiogenics as being infantry.
3. The assassins. They are ones that go out and actively kill the cancer cells themselves. Like DRE.
Which soldiers you use most is determined by how bad the war is. True you can probably use all 3 soldiers but I think you really need to use most your effort with one of them. For me I focus on using an assassin 🙂

I love to picture little DRE assassins going in killing cancer cells. It gives me some satisfaction 🙂

Since what I am doing is a huge experiment I have to keep adapting and trying different things.  My latest change is to attack with DRE, A highly absorbable Curcumin (Turmeric), and a mushroom called Turkey Tail.  We will see how all of this works in August.

Latest Timeline

  • Feb 2017

    New Growth

I stopped Chemo, because they found new growth in my lungs.

  • Jan 2017

    DRE

I discovered Dandelion Root Extract and started to take it.
I took 1-2 oz of DRE 4-6 times a day.
For a total of 8 oz.

  • April 2017

    Radiation

The tumor in my lungs gets radiated.

  • April 2017

    No New Tumors

A CT Scan shows that there are no new tumors.
Doctors had told me that even though I radiated that one spot that it would show up elsewhere.

  • Jun 2017

    I reduced DRE

I reduced slightly by accident and slightly because of complacency how much DRE I was taking.  I had reduced it to about 1 oz of DRE 4-6 times a day.  I also often didn’t take it on the weekends.

  • Jul 2017

    Still No Tumors

Still no new tumors spotted.  However, they were growing just very slowly.  Doctors are mildly surprised that there is no new growth.

  • Nov 2017

    Still No New Tumors Spotted

Doctors and radiologist still do not spot the tumors.

  • Feb 2018

    2 New Tumors Spotted

2 New tumors are finally spotted.  The doctor went back to July 2017’s CT scan and we could barely see them forming there.  Both my Medical Oncologist and my Radiation Oncologist say that this is very minimal growth compared to a person who has not been on chemo.

  • Feb 2018

    I increase DRE

I increase how much DRE I am taking to 6oz twice a day.  I think this was a mistake to change how often as the cells can only absorb so much at a time.  Even though I increased how much, I was still only taking 2 doses a day.

At this time I also added 4 oz of a strong chaga tea to my daily intake.

  • May 2018

    They Grow Bigger

A new CT scan shows that the tumors have increased in size.

  • May 2018

    I Changed Dose

I went back to many doses a day.  I started to take 1-2 oz of DRE 6-7 times a day.  I also take 1 squirter full of store bought DRE concentrate under my tongue 3-4 times a day.  I also add 3 tablets of turmeric once a day.  I stopped taking Chaga for a few months.

  • Now (June 28, 2018)

    A small change

Over the next 4+ weeks until my CT scan I will be taking DRE like I outlined before.  But I will be adding a very strong Turmeric which is designed to make the Curcumin in it far more absorbable to the body.  I will also be taking Turkey Tail Mushroom Extract.

  • Aug 2018

    CT Scan Scheduled

I have a CT scan scheduled for early August 2018
